(b) You may not transfer or sell your Account to any other person, and you may not use anyone else’s Account. You may not authorize anyone else to use your or anyone else’s account without our written permission. Violation of this policy may result in termination of your account, in which case you will be entitled to no refund of tuition and fees.
(c) Security Breaches. You agree to notify MITS of: (i) any loss of your password or other account identifiers and (ii) any unauthorized use of your password or other account identifiers. MITS shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, in any way for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of, or in connection with, your failure to comply with this section. However, if we (or anyone else) suffer any damage or loss due to the unauthorized use of your account, you may be liable.
(d) 40-hour training program enrollment. You attest that: (i) You are at least 18 years old (ii) You have a high school level of education in the U.S. or another country. (iii) You possess a high level of proficiency in English and another language.

All right, title and interest in and to the Content are owned, licensed and controlled by MITS. You may download one computer copy or print one copy of the Content on this Site for your own non-commercial, educational, private or domestic use only, provided you do not delete or change any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. The user understands and agrees that Medical Interpreting Training School (MITS) is the sole owner of the copyrighted Content and that any new or derivative works created from the Content (“Derivative Works”) are strictly prohibited without written consent.
Uploading or downloading works protected by copyright without the authority of the copyright owner is an infringement of the copyright owner’s exclusive rights of reproduction and distribution. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and MITS regarding the use of this Site, superseding any prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals between you and MITS. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
11. Refund Policy
We believe that our products are of exceptional value and that our clients will be completely satisfied with the content, reliability, and service we provide. Therefore, we offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee – no questions asked. To be eligible for a refund, customers mustn’t have accessed any Final Quiz and any Certificate of Completion. No refunds after 30 days of purchase. We do not charge processing fees for refunds!
12. Time Limit for Course Completion
For students enrolled in 40- hours program, the time limit for completing the 40 hours of training (10 core modules) is 12 months from the date of purchase. After the expiration of the course, all modules will be removed from the student’s profile, including all complementary materials. Students who do not complete their course within the one-year timeframe may purchase an extension of three months for a $100 fee.
For students enrolled in a 4-hour continuing education class, the time limit for completing the four hours of training is six months from the date of purchase. After the expiration of the class, the module will be removed from the student’s profile. Students who do not complete their class within six months may purchase an extension of three months for a $15.00 fee.
To be eligible for an extension students must submit their request by email no later than two months after expiration.
13. Certificate of Completion Policy
A certificate of completion will only be issued after participants successfully complete the course in its entirety. The minimum number of days to complete the 40-hour training course is six (6) days. No certificate of completion will be issued sooner than six days after registration.
MITS reserves the right to request further documentation, such as worksheets, glossaries, certificates, and recordings if we believe that the information submitted and the records are not sufficient proof of successful completion.
You acknowledge and agree that MITS, in its sole and absolute discretion, may, without notice to you, suspend or terminate your use of, or access to all or part of this Site, and remove and discard any information or Content or any of the Site, for any reason. You further agree that MITS shall not be liable to you or any other person as a result of any such suspension or termination.
